If you do not have hemorrhoids you do not have to worry about anal sex causing them. However, if you already have hemorrhoids you should avoid anal sex or take precautions because the friction can irritate and worsen the hemorrhoids that are already there. Ample lubricant will help to reduce friction as well as gentle approach.
