Ask any person and he/she will tell you that marriage is a social institution and would argue that there is no any other determinant apart from the free will of the involved individuals. Social science explains the compatibility factor which is usually acceptable in describing and prediction of love and long-term marriage relationships. Few people would even dare to research about possible existence of genetic determinants in marriage.
